Welcome
The Tibetan medicine is a unique wellness system and is one of the world’s oldest traditions still alive.
The central thought in the traditional Tibetan medicine’s system is the recovery and preservation of the balance of the three body’s humors through gentle methods.Tibetan medicine uses special techniques, which can be attuned to each single patient.
We are very happy to announce the consultations with Amchi Lobsang Rabjee, the brother of Tulku Lobsang Rinpoche.
He is a great Tibetan doctor and comes directly from Tibet.
TRADITIONAL TIBETAN MEDICINE
The Traditional Tibetan Medicine (TTM) assumes that the three humors wind, bile and phlegm flow in the channels. They provide the body with blood, vitamins, hormones, minerals etc. The body itself is made by the elements fire, earth, water, wind and space. If one of these elements is not in balance, this affects the body physically as well as on a mental level.
A Tibetan doctor doesn’t need an apparatus for his diagnosis, but he relies only on his own knowledge and his five senses. Urine- and pulse diagnosis are important diagnostic tools. The most important instrument of a Tibetan doctor is the pulse diagnosis. This diagnosis shows balance and imbalance in the patient’s body. The basis of this analysis is the holistic mindset, which includes physical as well as mental factors on an equal level and is thereby able to evaluate the patient’s condition.
After making the diagnosis there are different possible treatments: A recommendation for eating habits and possible dietary changes; individual behaviour corrections, oriented on the body type, according to the Tibetan teaching of elements; and support through a combination of natural remedies, acupressure, moxabustion and healing meditation.
